It has been a long time since I fought the FTP/FTPS battle, so apologies in advance if I'm incorrect. I do believe you have to open those ports on your router as well (directing them to your host), but if you're able to use SFTP instead, I would recommend that over FTPS if you're able - you'll only need port 22.
